2004 Celtic Welsh Knot Ring

Forged by hand like its Ironage predecessors

Sterling Silver Welsh Celtic Knot Ring

Mystical Celtic style since the Iron Age

The Welsh Celtic knot dates from the Iron age. Symbolizing eternity, loyalty, and friendship.

Forged in the mists of time

A heavy mist clung to the limestone cliffs of the Gower Peninsula,  a silver - grey backdrop blurred the line between the Bristol Channel and the jagged historical shore - it was the autumn of 2004, the air carried the special Gower scent of sea salt, crushed gorse, and the damp earth of ancient coastal paths.

Eternal loyalty

Stumbling upon a small shop tucked away near Rhossili - an artisan sat hunched over a work bench, he was forging a piece of history : a heavy band of 925 silver, destined to become a Welsh knot. This ring wasn't mass produced in a factory. it was born in the Peninsula. Using traditional Celtic smithing techniques. This piece possesses the weight and 'soul' modern jewellery lacks. It features everlasting knotwork, the interconnection of life, the eternal nature of love and heritage with no beginning and no end, eternal loyalty

Rare 1990s Signed 'Sezgin Jewels'

Magnificent 'Shield' Statement Ring

Silver has been valued for over 5,000 years

Silver has been valued for over 5,000 years. Primarily used for currency and jewellery. Its long history began in 3000 BC in Asia Minor.

Finding this beautiful piece

On a crisp Saturday morning over 2 decades ago. The air in Corn Street was thick with the scent of roasted coffee as the stalls begin to unfurl.

Between the grand, neo - classical columns of the exchange, I spotted a flash of bright, cool light - a handmade 925 silver statement ring that demanded attention even then.

This piece was acquired during the height of Bristols independant artisan revival. Corn Street has always been the cities beating heart, a place where 'paying on the nail' was invented and where the eccentric and elegant have collided for centuries. This ring was chosen for its weight, architectural presence, and refusal to be subtle.
