1950s Western Germany Purse/Gloves Holder

Style : Ladies purse/umbrella/gloves holder, designed to keep their bag off of the floor of a restaurant or cafe. Reverse painted itaglio. Floral Cabouchon featuring a very pretty daisy and Cornflower.

During the 1950s and 60s West Germany was a powerhouse of well made costume jewellery and purse holders. The mechanism still works perfectly.  There is a little wear for its age, there is a small mark on the yellow part of the daisy, which you can see in our video, on our Facebook page, but its a Beautiful piece of history
