Celebrate the enduring bond of the home front with this 1943 WWII Sweetheart brooch. 

These tokens were more than just jewellery; they were symbols of love and pride, worn by wives, mothers, and girlfriends while their loved ones served in the 'Craftsmen Corps' 

Created in the classic diamond shape and made from clear lucite, or plexiglass  (salvaged aircraft windshields) How fascinating and unique is that, you could own this little piece of history that was salvaged from the windshield of a Spitfire! Or Hawker Hurricane. it even has its original safety pin on the back.

In the center lies the crest of the REME (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) 

A fine piece of history which shows an authentic patina,  that tells the story of its journey through the war.
